Hi! I'm John! I recently graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Computer Science. Now I'm moving on to Consulting with Deloitte in their Government and Public Services Department!

During my time at A&M, I worked for the Engineering Systems Lab under the Continuous Commissioning program as a part of the Texas A&M Energy Experiment Station. This software development team works to maintain the Compass site to help companies analyze their HVAC performance. Learning to program on a commercial level taught me a lot about user experience, testing, and ensuring my thought process (and code) is robust.

I got started writing code when I decided to learn python for a side job helping transition a government database away from Excel. Now I work on my own personal side-projects, you can check some of them out on the other page here!

I love to play all the sports, even if I'm terrible, but soccer and tennis have gotta be my favorites! I also like hiking and camping at national and state parks!

The last few years I've taken part in a canoe race known as the Texas Water Safari which has been an amazing experience with my close friends. I have a short page on it here.
